Isma Khan – President

Isma was born and raised in Hamilton and also completed her schooling from Hamilton. She graduated from McMaster University with an Honours in Bachelor of Commerce and also majored in HR Management. She holds a CHRP designation and works as a Corporate Recruitment Consultant. Isma has also served as the Vice-President & Director Marketing of Pakistan Students Association at McMaster University.
Isma is extremely passionate about promoting Pakistani culture in Canada and takes a keen interest in organizing cultural, fundraising/ awareness events. Her long-term goal is work in an HR field that removes barriers during the employment process; such as employment equity, accessibility and accommodation to name a few. Isma is also very passionate to work for the betterment of children with special needs.

Shahroze Asif – Vice President

Shahroze is currently studying Honours Life Sciences at McMaster University. He was an executive member of the Pakistani Student Association at McMaster. Shahroze believes that in this diverse community of Canada, it is very important for the young generation to become aware of the rich traditions and cultures of Pakistan in order to educate the young generation about the Pakistani culture, art, music and literature; Shahroze has hosted many events at McMaster University.

Malika Chaudhry – Secretary

Malika Chaudhry is the Secretary of Jinnah Cultural Society of Hamilton. She is currently in first year MohMac collaborative Nursing program. She has been a part of many JCSH events because she enjoys coming together as a community and promoting Pakistani culture to the youth. She was a volunteer for JCSH in the past and later on she joined the team. Malika believes that being born in Canada doesn't erase who you really are and where you come from. Embrace it, encourage it, and endorse your cultural background.

Iqra Bhatti- Joint Secretary

Iqra is in her second year of Honours Biology at McMaster University. She is a newly appointed executive member of JCSH, and is passionate about keeping the Pakistani culture alive among Canadian youth. Along with volunteering for St. Joseph’s Hospital, she is a part of various clubs at McMaster University, including McMaster Arthritic Foundation and Students Advancing Brain Cancer Research. In the future, she hopes to work with health professionals internationally to improve and refine healthcare for women and children.

Saif Muhammad – Logistics Coordinator

Saif is in his final year of Electrical Engineering and is currently doing his internship in Brantford. Since joining JCSH, Saif has worked on editing performance videos, songs and presentations. Saif has volunteered with the Liberal Party and also plays Cricket in Hamilton & District Cricket League and Toronto & District Cricket Association.

Emaan Baig- Logistics Coordinator

Emaan Baig is currently in his final year of high school and looks foward in attending McMaster University for the 2018-2019 school year. He is working towards being a neurologist and a businessman as he pursues a succesful career.  He works 2 jobs and is a consistent volunteer at McMaster Children's Hospital and other non-profit organizations. As of right now, he is a newly appointed exectuive member of JCSH and is intrigued in spreading the Pakistani culture to his fellow peers. He is extremly passionate to gain more knowledge about the culture and promote it to the Canadian youth.

Du’a Baig – Social Media / McMaster Outreach Rep

Du'a Baig is currently in her fourth year at McMaster University. She is majoring in Political Science Specialization in Public Law and Judicial Studies, and minoring in Public Law and Order. She is part of numerous clubs at McMaster such as the Pakistani Student Association, Pro Bono Law and The Young Liberals Club. Du'a believes that preserving Pakistani Culture is important in a diverse country such as Canada because it is a great way to showcase the beauty, tradition, and heritage of Pakistan. Thus, protecting and maintaining the country's identity, and defining who we are as Pakistani's. 

Her goal is to attend Law School and become an International Human Rights Lawyer. Her dream is to bring justice to peoples lives, to support causes and NGOS, and to strive in bringing positive change into this world.  

Nauman Mohiuddin- Media Manager

Nauman is currently working at RBC and is also involved with the Liberal Party of Canada. He is an entrepreneur by nature and is a cofounder of a skincare line; focusing on reminding women to care for their skin using natural ingredients. Nauman and his sister, Kiran, are committed to non-profit causes and donate funds from their entrepreneurial ventures to educate women around the world.

Aliza Malik- Social Media Rep

The youngest member of JCSH, being only 14, has always had a  strong interest in politics and believes in the importance of the youth getting involved in the community. In 2017 she was given the nation “Builder Award” for her involvement. She is currently a grade 9 student at Bishop Ryan High school and is very involved with many clubs and activities, one of them is being part of the school morning announcements. But aside from it all she loves to sing and play her flute. This year she will attend with the school choir group Xpression and school band Fusion to get to compete in Boston! She says this is just the beginning of her journey!

Zoia Qureshi – Youth Coordinator

Zoia is our young, talented volunteer coordinator. She is currently in second year Political Science at McMaster University. Zoia gathers volunteers and assigns them jobs for the events. Because of Zoia’s hard work, our events have been very successful. Zoia has also volunteered with the Liberal Party.

Saad Ahmed- Youth Coordinator

Saad is a second year life sciences student at McMaster University. Aside from JCSH, he’s heavily involved with youth-based volunteering in Hamilton and thoroughly enjoys working with children. He is a youth mentor and educator with Let’s Talk Science Canada, a school-age child care volunteer with YMCA Hamilton, a pediatric volunteer at St. Joseph’s Hospital, and a lead organizing executive for the 4th Annual McMaster Child Health Conference, among other ventures. He hopes to utilize his experience to foster cultural involvement in Pakistani youth on a local-level and encourage pride of heritage and self-identity.

Vaniza Arshad – Youth Coordinator

Vaniza Arshad is working towards being a computer software engineer. She is the Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator for JCSH. She is responsible for recruiting volunteers from the Hamilton region while coordinating and designating tasks to ensure successful outcome for the events. Along with JCSH, she also volunteers with the Liberal party, Umeed NGO and St. Joseph’s hospital. She is a passionate individual that strives to bring upon a positive change in the community while promoting the Pakistani culture to our fellow Canadians.

Maiedah Chaudhary – Finance Coordinator

Maiedah Chaudhry currently goes to Mohawk College and is enrolled in the Paralegal program. She had started off with volunteering for JCSH since she was a young teen and is now a proud member of the organization. She has volunteered in various areas such as Paramount Pharmasave as a pharmacy technician, mentored young children for Saturday School at Helen Detwiler, and participated at the Gandhi Peace Festival, which takes place annually at the Hamilton City Hall. She looks forward to what the future beholds with JCSH and her career in law.
