Naseer Malik- Founder

Mr. Naseer Malik needs no introduction to the community, as he has done so much for well-being and uplifting of the people that it cannot be expressed in words. His deeds speak for themselves. Whether it is an occasion of celebration or a calamity, you will see him struggling with his ultimate input for the cause.

He believes in serving a common man irrespective if caste, colour, creed, religion or sex. Mr. Malik once managed to introduce the facility of consulate services in Hamilton. As the Hamiltonian Pakistanis were receiving consulate services in their own hometown, it saved them from cumbersome and time-taking travel to Toronto. 

Currently, he is working for the office of Mr. Bob Bratina, Member of Parliament from Hamilton East Stoney Creek, as the Constituency Assistant. He is also the team member of the Mcqueston the thirst (of Cricket Loving Fans) bu organizing and supervising tournaments and launching his won team in the Cricket League. His efforts in obtaining a new cricket ground in East Hamilton area were highly appreciated. 

Usman Khan- Chairman

Usman Khan graduated from Punjab University with a degree in Journalism. He worked for many national and international news agencies and newspaper. He is currently associated with the Hamilton Spectator as a freelance photo journalist. He is deeply involved un the betterment and wellbeing if underprivileged people and strives sincerely for them. 

Tarique Ayub

Tarique Ayub is a civil engineer by education and now a banker, has been an active community member since more than last 15 years. His contributions towards the organizations throughout cannot be ignored. As an engineer, he worked closely with Canadian Consultants at Wasak dam, Peshawar and with International Consortium of Consultants at Ghazi Barotha Hydro Power project near Islamabad.

In Canada he associated himself with financial sector for the last 14 years and worked with organizations like Dominion Lending Company, and RBC Bank. Currently he is working in CIBC Bank. Currently he is working in CIBC bank as a mortgage advisor and has excelled in his profession. Tarique has always been in the fore front, when voluntary services are needed to organize such social and cultural events. We are proud to have him in our team. 

Najam us Saqib

Najam us Saqib is a retired Naval Officer and has served the Pakistan Navy for about 30 years and retired as Commander in 2012. He also has a Master's degree in Business Management alone with Master's in Philosophy. 

In Canada, Najam has joined Sun Life Financial as Financial Advisor. Being a retired naval officer, when it comes to Pakistan, he cannot keep himself away from being part of such events like Pakistan Day Celebrations. His contributions are of immense value in organizing this event. 

Syed A Hassan

Aside from JCSH, Aale Hassan Syed has been working with United Church Canada, Lifeline Syria and Citizenship & Immigration Canada (CIC) for sponsorship of Syrian Refugees under Govt. of Canada Private Sponsorship Programe. He has volunteered with many charitable organizations including Salvation Army, World Vision Canada and Muslim Welfare Home. His continuous humanitarian work includes clean water projects, free education and medical services in Lebanon and Pakistan. He has keen interest in global affairs and very vocal against the atrocities happening in Myanmar, Kashmir and Yemen. he often writes to the heads of states to do more to end suffering of humans globally. He aims to make JCSH known nationally and internationally. 

Bilal Mirza

Bilal Mirza is a lawyer by profession and a proud member of Jinnah Cultural Society of Hamilton.  He practices law in the areas of Corporate & Commercial Law, Real Estate and Will & Estates Law at a law firm in Hamilton.  Bilal is passionate about promoting a positive image of Pakistan in Hamilton and surrounding areas through JCSH.

Yasmeen Mirza

Yasmeen Mirza is a long time Social Worker with the City of Hamilton where she is presently a Community Placement Coordinator. She is the chair of Health and Safety with the City as well as a member of Labour Management. She is also a union Stewart supporting and helping her co-workers. In addition, she is a contributing member of the Muslim Counsel of Greater Hamilton, which promotes understanding and relationship building.

Jahanzeb Khan

Jahan Zeb is providing counselling along  with  Michelle Pennells and Mary Kate DeGeer at the Transformation Trauma Group in Hamilton. He is helping individuals and families to transform  stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma and conflicts using  solution-focused, mindfulness-based  and trauma informed and culturally adapted C/DBT therapy models impacting peoples’ function and stability. He has completed his Masters Degree in Peace & Conflict Studies at the University of Waterloo and is currently a MSW candidate at Wilfrid Laurier University. 

Jahan is the co-founder of the Global Peace Centre Canada which  helps individuals and communities in Canada and globally with conflict management skills training and scholarships. He enjoys spending time camping with his wife, three children, and enjoying swimming and the calmness of meditative music. 

Tahira Awan

Tahira Awan is a dentist from Pakistan. She is a registered dental hygienist working full time in a state of the art dental facility in Hamilton, ON. She identifies herself as a proud Pakistani woman who maintains her cultural values and identity while integrating into Canadian society. In addition to her contribution for Autism Ontario through JCSH platform, Tahira has been an active participant in several other charitable projects, a few to name are Syrian refugees resettlement program in Niagara Region, “dentistry from the heart” campaign for low income families- Oakville, public health dental clinic- City of Hamilton. She is a regular hair donor for the Canadian cancer society and is also registered for organ and tissue donor. Tahira strongly believes in giving back to the community . Before moving to Canada, Tahira has organized and participated in several community service projects in Islamabad, Pakistan.
